1) How did you end up with Luna?
My fiancé and I decided we wanted to get a puppy for our household and started looking into dogs. The Cockapoo is a breed I have been familiar with most of my life as my family babysat one growing up. All my life I’ve had dogs, worked at rescues, fostered, etc… so it was time to get one for our little family. Funny enough, Luna was the last one sold in her litter and actually was being looked at before us. The breeder said if they don’t take her she’s ours and the rest is history.
2) What attracted you to the Cockapoo hybrid?
Cockapoos are the most loving dogs on earth! Having such a great experience growing up and babysitting one on a bi monthly basis, I knew right away that this breed will be perfect to add to our family.
3) How would you describe Luna’s personality? Can you spot Cocker Spaniel/Poodle traits?
Luna has the most loving heart full personality you’ll ever find. Yes, partly because she was raised with a ton of love and affection but also it’s who she is. At times you can see her Poodle side come out when she doesn’t get her way but majority of the time her loving compassionate Spaniel side shows. Whether it’s cuddle up with me on the couch or saying hello to everyone she meets, Luna has such a lovely heart.
4) What does an average day look like for Luna?

Luna lives a great life! Her typical day consists of plenty walks and exercise, a ton of love and cuddles randomly throughout the day, and lots of play time with daddy when he can. She also works on a daily basis creating content for the millions of fans around the world.
5) Was Luna easy to train?
Luna was really easy for me to train as I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. With Luna being the first small dog I or my family has ever had. Rottweilers were the breed of choice and any other foster dogs we had growing up so Luna was a breeze. After fostering many dogs, some with behaviour issues… Luna was a walk in the park. It also helped that she was such a quick learner!
6) Does Luna need a lot of exercise?
She requires quite a bit of exercise as she is a fairly high energy dog which is why she’s walked on average 4-6 times a day with at least a long 30-45min walk in there.
7) Are Cockapoos high maintenance?
I would say so! Maybe it’s because she knows she’s a star but yes they do require a lot of maintenance. Specifically with the grooming.
8) What prompted you to start a social media page for Luna?

I’m a marketer and wanted to share the love I have with her to the rest of the world. Boy, I’m thankful I did!
9) Do you have a preferred platform or preferred type of content?
We love TikTok and producing short form videos. We are also super active on Instagram and post a ton of heartfelt loving content showing the world our love!
10) Can you share some perspective into your creative process?
Creating content with Luna has been fairly easy, the love we share is unlike anything else I’ve seen so creating loving content comes naturally. We use a variety of apps like InShot and Cap cut to help with the editing process but with our type of content it doesn’t require much editing. We try to produce at least a video a day when we can and are always filming to ensure a backlog of content. Consistency is key to growth.
11) What advice would you have for someone creating a social media page for their pet?
My best piece of advice would be to be yourself. Don’t compare yourself to others, stay in your lane and be consistent. Also don’t get discouraged when things don’t go smoothly. Remember it’s social media and not real life… think of it as a video game and don’t get emotionally attached.
12) Do you have a favourite post? If so, why?
My favourite post is the first video we had that went viral. A video of Luna and I hugging before a walk. It was when I realized that our love is something special.
13) What are the advantages and the challenges of being a Cockapoo owner?

The advantages are that you get a lot of love as they are extremely affectionate dogs. They are also easy to train if you have the knowledge and patience. Some difficulties are for sure the energetic side and trying to match that energy on a daily basis but that’s nothing a long walk or the dog park can’t fix. I guess you could say the grooming every 8-10 weeks can be demanding.
14) Can you share with us your favourite or funniest story with Luna?
Honestly the favourite story is probably when I took Luna and my now fiancé on a hike up a mountain and proposed at the top. It’s also a video you can find on our page.
15) What advice would you give to yourself if you could go back to when you first got Luna?
Continue to be you! I would tell myself that patience is key and with micro speed and macro patience you can have great success.
