Alaskan Malamutes are majestic dogs that have a sizeable following on Instagram.

The northern breed started in Alaska but Alaskan Malamutes have now spread around the world.

These large dogs are much-loved pets but were previously used as sled dogs thanks to their famed strength and endurance.

One of the Instagram’s most popular dogs, Loki, is part Alaskan Malamute.
