The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is accustomed to being something of a celebrity.
These dogs were popularised by King Charles I, his son King Charles II and Queen Victoria during the 18th and 19th century.
While they’ve experienced some setbacks over the last couple of centuries, the CKCS remains one of the most popular breeds in the world.
Celebrities such as Courtney Cox, political leaders Ronald Regan and Margaret Thatcher and the Queen’s sister Margaret have all owned Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Unsurprisingly, they have made quite the wave on social media – too. Here is helloBARK’s list of 10 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to follow on Instagram.
