There is a growing number of British dog owners who have made the switch to raw nutrition for their pets.

You may be accustomed to feeding your dog store-bought dog food without really considering what goes into some of the traditional types of dog food such as kibble.

Some of the big name brands that you find at your local supermarket use mystery ingredients or unwanted additives and fillers instead of fresh ingredients.

However, there’s a growing shift in the UK amongst pet parents to adopt a healthier approach to pet nutrition to give their dog the best chance to live a happy life.

Raw dog food is one of the newest phenomens in the pet food industry as an increasing number of pet owners decide to make the shift to this whole food diet.

However, there are pros and cons to feeding raw, just like other types of pet nutrition. British dog owners should consult their vet and do lots of research before deciding to make the switch to raw dog food.

We’ve reached the end of our review of Poppy’s Picnic.

They’re one of the leading raw dog food companies in the UK. They provide a number of different recipes.

Poppy’s Picnic offer a variety of protein sources, ranging from beef, tripe, chicken, duck and venison. They only use natural ingredients that are locally and responsibly sourced to ensure your canine companion gets the best in pet nutrition.

I liked that Poppy’s Picnic included a question about freezer space in their sign-up questionnaire. This is something that is often overlooked by dog food companies but can prove quite a headache if pet parents have limited space.
