Our Verdict
I was sent some Pets Purest samples to try – Daily Calming Supplement Treats, Multivitamins, Natural Premium Plaque Control, Dental Spray, Joint Pro, Calm Pro, Premium Turmeric Curcumin and Scottish Salmon Oil.
I was particularly impressed with their Supplement Treat range. In my experience, it can be a battle attempting to give my Alaskan Klee Kai a supplement. Whether it’s a drop or a pill, they have a knack of knowing when something is hidden in their food. But with the Supplement Treat range, they were quick to eat their Calming supplement and Multivitamin. It was really convenient.
My mini huskies struggle with plaque build-up on their teeth so I added Premium Plaque Control to their food. To my surprise, they ate their food without a moment’s hesitation despite the inclusion of the Plaque Control. It would have been nice if Pets Purest had included a small scooper to measure the correct amount. Having started the supplement a week ago, it’s too early to say whether it’s had a positive impact.
Overall, I like that Pets Purest use natural ingredients so you can have peace of mind that there’s no additives or nasties. They appear to be competitively priced within the dog supplement marketplace.
